Our History
Our chapel was built in 1797 to fulfill a promise to John Wesley, who preached here in 1786. Since then it has been at the heart of the local community. The chapel is one of only two of its kind in existance. We are proud of our heritage but also look to the future to be a modern and inclusive church.

Our chapel is available for baptisms, weddings and funerals. With the recent changes in the Methodist church we will be available for same sex marriages in due course.
Our Sunday School room is available for children’s parties and social / community groups. We have a recently refurbished kitchen for use also.
